I’m Danni! Nanny by day and avid crafter by night. Based in Brooklyn, I love exploring new bars, restaurants, hotels, and local businesses both at home and while traveling.

Em”bar”dery was born while I was traveling in Helsinki, embroidering at a bar and thinking, “It would be fun to embroider my limoncello spritz.” And thus, Em”bar”dery began—a series where I embroider something inspired by the place I’m visiting, right there in the space. Every finished embroidery piece is then gifted back to the business.

What started at the bar has since expanded to restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, pizza shops, Airbnbs, hotels, events, and beyond. Follow along as I continue embroidering my way through cities, one space at a time!
